Our Mission

TechEquitas is dedicated to reducing the digital divide. We host collection drives to collect old technology (like laptops, headphones, mice, phones, keyboards, etc) from people who do not need it anymore. We then donate those to people whose lack of technology is an obstacle to them reaching their full potential. We will also host simple coding workshops for children who otherwise would not have access to learning how to code and workshops in senior centers to teach seniors about how to navigate the Internet and technology. By tackling both the physical devices/technology front as well as the knowledge front, TechEquitas strives to ensure equal opportunity in the world of technology.
